Thanks to the English teacher review above. Your review helped me decide that this is the ONE as opposed to the plastic shelling casings that others are selling and the Red is awesome! (much more of a stand out than black). The cover has a snug fit and holds it in place with a little overlap (four on the screen top and two on the bottom piece for the keyboard). As the other review had mentioned, it does limit the extension angle of the screen, thus 110 degree is about as far back as it goes. The only minor drawback I had was that I also purchased a silicone keypad protector and now the protector is not flushed at the palm rest area because the Macally proctor and the silicone wrap are competing for the same space. I am hesistant to push too hard because I am afraid of ruining either products. Eh, I can live with it given my true intention is to protect the Macbook.

I bought this as this was the only mac protection available in a more 'affordable' range but to my total surprise i found it to be perfect! It doesn't heat my mac MORE than it used to. I use my Mac a lot (practically the whole day) and this is the best thing that would prevent it from scratches due to improper handling. It fits perfectly and looks good too.

When I received this from Amazon I was underwhelmed. Two separate pieces were just supposed to hang onto my MacBook how?

br /After I clipped on both pieces, which fit like a glove, they held on very well. Really well. So far so good.

br /After using it for a couple of weeks, I can say my first impression was wrong. The protection shell works wonders for my MacBook. I've received countless compliments on it and after seeing other people's scratched up laptops, I'm proud to recommend it to all MacBook users. What a turn around huh.

This cover is super cool, fits perfectly and really gives my computer an awesome look. It doesn't seem to run hotter but it's definitely a lot hotter now that it's wearing this red leather case. Great product!

I bought this product last month and have been using it ever since. First of all I LOVE THIS PRODUCT! I bought it in red and was not sure of its looks from the pictures that were provided. However, when it arrived (very promptly, I might add) and I snapped it on (which was very, very easy), I instantly fell in love with it!

br /It is made of pliable leather, feels nice to the touch, really attractive on a white Macbook. It has vents in the back to let air out, 2 cut-outs on the sides for ports and one in the front. It fit perfectly on the 13" Macbook. It is in good shape so far, but it's only been a month of use. I will treat it like my baby of course. Looks like it might need cleaning from time to time, just as you would with any leather products.

br /There are no cons to this product as of yet: as it is known, the Macbooks heat up pretty quickly and I have read in other reviews it was due to the Shell, which is not true. Your laptop will get hot anyway, the shell has a vent in the back to let air out but none in the underside. The material is pretty sturdy and I think it'll last for a good while.

br /I most definitely recommend this product to those who need a strong protecting case for their macbooks. This shell eliminated the need for a bag or a sleeve, since I can just stick it in my backpack.
