Great Microscope November 10, 2006 Judy Petray 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I purchased this for my Grandson and he loved it. Tells a story about each bug slide. Good learning tool as well. His father had a good time looking at the slides as well.
Scientifically proven to be great fun January 19, 2007 J. Muno (Oregon) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I bought this for my 5 year old nephew for Christmas. He loved it, his parents loved it, my parents loved it, my husband and I loved it. In fact, the adults were so impressed by this fun educational toy that poor Dev didn't get to see it that much Christmas day! But even in the short time he spent with it, he was already spouting off facts about bugs like a tiny little Mr. Wizard.

I actually borrowed this from our library. My kids had a ball with it. I even learned new things! I then BOUGHT one for my nephew for his birthday. My sister says he really likes it, too!

This child's scope has realistic slides and audio to make the learning experience a fun time. There are bugs and other cool things to look at. The slides are sturdy and kid proof.. I would recommend this product. Our 5 year olds really likes this learning toy.
Fun Educational Toy December 27, 2007 R. Hacker (Fort Worth, TX) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
I purchased this toy for my 5 1/2 year old son that has a real affinity with bugs. He loves it. It's pretty neat. They are not real slides. They are tiny photos that are magnified by the microscope, but that's fine for him. They are very clear. The only bummer is that I haven't seen any other slides you can buy that I know of. It only comes with 12, and after you are sick of those, it's toast. Other than that it's great. It's very educational. It gives them facts about each one, then they can take the quiz. As far as durability, well it's new, but so far so good. It's hard to find educational toys that he actually likes. So far, we love it.
